While we have no religious focus, ownership or bias, St. Fillan's (pronounced fill-ins) is named after the Scottish monk, St. Fillan. He was known for healing those with mental disabilities. We felt like his mission to help the hurting was one that fit our hearts as caregivers for the disabled adults in our community.
St. Fillan's is small Residential Habitation and Supported Living company. We say "small" with pride, because we believe our intentional size fits our intentional focus: "To care for others in a way that meets or exceeds state standards." Our small size allows for staff to know and have a relationship with every participant they serve. We also believe that this goal allows us to know and recognize all of the participants and their families. Lastly, this intent allows us to accurately evaluate our efforts to treat employees and participants in the best way possible.
Our motivation in having this small familial company is our desire to create an environment where the participants want to be and where the employees want to work. As owners, we have a greater motivation still: our own family members with disabilities are enrolled in the care of our company. As we make decisions, we regularly ask ourselves, "Would this be the best choice for our family members?" as such, we do our best to guarantee all participants are treated as we would want our family treated.
At St. Fillan's, we pride ourselves on the service we provide to all of our participants. Our small, close-knit group of employees works to build relationships with every participant they serve. This focus on quality service is part of what makes St. Fillans truly unique. Explore some of the services we offer below, or get in touch to find out how we can serve you.
